Example of checks carried out for a T108 service
These machines are well known for their trouble-free operating and, to keep your machine performing at its best, we recommend servicing on a twice annual basis. Below are listed just some of the checks our engineer would carry out:
1) Check all oil levels and top up where necessary.
2) Check for any leaks in watering, greasing, hydraulic and air network systems.
3) Check any linear rails, rack and pinions, guiding bars for rust or pitting, clean and soak with necessary treatment.
4) Check tension of any belts and condition of cable network, routing and supports.
5) Check condition of bellows and carpets.
6) Check condition and operation of flexijet for wear and leaks, advise regarding replacement if necessary.
7) Remove water swivel and spindle assembly, fit new balls for locking of arbors, fit new upper bearings and new water swivel kit, then re-assemble.
8) Check operation of front and rear brake to ensure that both are working correctly.
9) Remove lower screw from bottom of motor and drain any internal condensation from the motor.
10) Remove water filter clean if washable or replace if disposable.
11) Grease all vertical travel, removing housing if necessary with appropriate grease.
12) Grease spindle with correct grease.
13) Check if the bed is level and adjust if necessary.
14) Check condition of bed clamps and bushes; advise if replacement is necessary.
15) Check condition of tooling being used and advise if considered damaged or worn.
